To store saffron in large volumes (in bulk), it should be in a dry and cool place away from sunlight and moisture. Saffron in large-volume should be stored in special plastic packaging, but if it’s to be stored in bulk for a long time (seven to eight months), it is better to store in special metal containers. The important point in the basic maintenance of saffron is to keep it away from light and moisture, otherwise its shelf life will be reduced.
