The important point in the basic maintenance of saffron is to keep it away from light and moisture, otherwise its shelf life will be reduced.
The shelf life of saffron depends on environmental conditions, and if stored in good environmental conditions, the shelf life will be longer and it can maintain the same quality and appearance that it was purchased in the first days.
