Traditional ice cream (saffron and rose)
The taste of this ice cream is very delicious and it is also known as Iranian ice cream.
600 ml high-fat cream
600 ml cream
300 g powdered sugar
5 tablespoons rose
saffron egg yolk enough
1 teaspoon sugar
Pour saffron and 1 teaspoon of sugar in a mortar and mix to form a powder.
In a medium saucepan, heat the milk and cream over low heat. (Do not let it boil)
Add sugar and stir to dissolve.
Mix 1 cup of milk and cream mixture with the beaten egg yolk and add.
Add rose and saffron powder and rose.
Stir the mixture over low to medium heat (until it does not boil) to thicken.
Then pour into a bowl and cover.
Let refrigerate overnight in the freezer.
Serve with some chopped pistachios.
